Ben Higgins is the 20th leading man of “The Bachelor” this season. Weeks ahead of the premiere of the ABC show, Ben revealed that fans can expect less kissing and make out. Yay or nay?

According to E! Online, the theme of the upcoming season could be about “anticipation. The “Bachelor” told reporters that “kissing and making out” is limited this season. The site mentioned that this would be in contrast to Chris Soules’s season where numerous ladies were kissed on the show.

Ben said,

“One of things that I went into this season after talking to some of mentors and my friends, and also just thinking how I want to do it myself was I really wanted to concentrate on getting to know these women outside of the physical aspect of it.”

Although Ben Higgins stressed that it would be limited, it doesn’t mean that it won’t happen at all. However, the “Bachelor” felt that he “wanted to hold back” from kissing some women.

He added,

“I think that is always important in a relationship and it comes in time, but I wanted to make sure we spent our time getting to know each other one on one and not necessarily kissing or making out the whole the time.”

Earlier this week, ABC revealed the names of the 28 bachelorettes who will fight for Ben’s love. Unconfirmed spoilers mentioned that Ben will be attracted to Ferguson twins and Lauren Bushnel. It was rumoured that Lauren will eventually win his heart.

When asked about the qualities he’s looking for in his future wife, Ben Higgins admitted that religion is very important to him.

Ben revealed,

“I would really like to find a woman that had a similar faith as I do. I think that’d be important as we raise a family, as we move forward in life. So faith is important to me.”

A new season of “The Bachelor” will air on ABC starting January 4, Monday.
