“The Bachelor” 2016 star Ben Higgins has finally confirmed that he is now engaged to the woman he chose in the rose finale.
In an interview with “Good Morning America,” he admitted that he already popped the question to the lady who caught his heart.
In this week’s episode of the ABC reality show, Higgins broke “The Bachelor” rules when he admitted to both Lauren Bushnell and JoJo Fletcher that he is in love with them.
“I am in love with two women here and I just couldn’t say it back to you,” Higgins admitted to 24-year-old Caila Quinn before he sent her home.
Higgins said he and his new fiancee are “happier than ever.”
“It’s a pretty big deal. You don’t know how much stress and weight that is, to carry for so long. Good Morning America, I am engaged! Yes, finally!”
Quinn told ABC News that she has no regrets in her decision to join the show.
“I have no regret what so ever. I would have regretted not giving my whole heart to this experience and I really felt like I did that and I fell in love. It really does hurt me that he didn’t but I can’t help that.”
Now that there are only two women left in the competition – JoJo and Lauren – who will Higgins chose in the final rose ceremony?
The 27-year-old bachelor already picked the engagement ring for the season finale on March 14.
Hollywood Life quoted a source saying Higgins himself selected the four-carat emerald-cut engagement ring.
“The engagement ring features an emerald-cut center stone with a halo. The wedding set engagement ring is accented with baguette diamonds on the setting and is delicate in design. The total carat weight is 4 carats, and it’s all hand-set in platinum. The estimated value is $90,000,” said the insider.

Whose hand the ring belongs to? Rumours indicated that Higgins will choose Lauren over JoJo. However, there were also reports that the bachelor regrets his decision of picking Lauren.
Meanwhile, the women who were eliminated this season will return next week for the “Women Tell All” special before “The Bachelor” season finale airs on March 14, Mail Online reported.
