Nova, also known as Richard Rider, is one of the many superheroes that fans would want to see included in the two “Avengers: Infinity War” movies.
“Infinity War” requires a cast of galactic proportions with over 67 characters according to CheatSheet. If such is the case, there is certainly more than enough room for Nova to be considered in the roster.
Nova is known to possess superhuman strength and the capability to fly, even in outer space. He also has the ability to create wormholes and control gravitational forces. He derives this power from the Nova Force which all Nova Corps Centurion are allowed to harness. Such power was passed on to him from Nova Corps member Rhomann Dey, portrayed by John C. Reilly in the “Guardians of the Galaxy” film.
Since the story revolves around the Infinity Stones and “Guardians of the Galaxy” happen to have encountered one of the powerful gems as well as fighting alongside the Nova Corps, this ensures that the ragtag group will be included in the Avenger’s movie.
MNRDaily reported that it’s sensible to include the superhero Nova, a real Nova Corps member and an elite one at that, as well. However, these should be taken with a grain of salt since no official announcement regarding their inclusion was made yet.
Aside from the Power Stone identified in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie, other stones have also made their appearances in other Marvel movies. The Space Stone is seen in “Captain America” and “The Avengers” while the Mind Stone is featured in “The Avengers” and “Age of Ultron.” Finally, the Reality Stone was used by the Dark Elves to destroy the universe where they almost succeeded in “Thor: The Dark World.”
