The Japanese film “Attack on Titan” has been renewed for season 2 followed by a huge success of its prior chapter. The film based on the manga of the same name by Hajime Isayama. These days there have been plenty of spoilers and non-spoilers regarding the much-awaited sequel from the manga.  Generating excitement among the fans, here are some new hints on what could be the possible storyline for the “Attack on Titan” season 2. Details about a release date and the delay are also revealed below. Read on.

According to GamenGuide, the new season will show the death of a major character. It’s been speculated that the character is about to get killed in “Attack on Titan” season 2. Although the creators admit that their plot would stick to the manga as much as possible, the turn of events in “Attack on Titan” Season 2 is their modern approach. Just released last month, the manga illustrated a clash between the Colossal Titan against Armin Arlert and Eren Yeager.

As the Colossal Titan began to beat Eren’s Rogue Titan, Armin creates a plan to defeat the Colossal Titan in some way. Armin used himself as a lure so that Erin can hit the Colossal Titan with a death knell. That did work but at the cost of one of the most popular characters in “Attack on Titan” series. If the original storyline is to be referred, then the series has to lose one of its mainstays.

Should we expect from the forthcoming chapter of “Attack on Titan” just lie in the manga? If yes, then stakes are high for Armin, who may beat to dust in the process of defeating the Colossal Titan.

The release date for “Attack on Titan” Season 2, is yet to be confirmed but it is most likely to be in 2017. A Spanish production company called SelectaVision tried to purchase the rights for the sequel but they were informed about the delayed release date.  The prime reason for this delay is the Manga’s development. Currently, the Manga is only at its second arc and, the creators want it to complete up to four arcs before releasing the anime series.
