As DC welcomes Supergirl into its roster, Arrow Season 5 actor Stephen Amell teased of a major crossover. Meanwhile, the actor shared his take on Oliver and Felicity’s relationship as the show enters a new season.
Stephen Amell talked to Comicbook during the Wizard World Philadelphia event where he shared that a crossover involving Arrow, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow and The Flash is probably happening.
“I think what we’ll end up seeing is one giant four-night crossover. No seriously. How we’re going to end up doing that…I don’t know,” he shared. “This is kind of an unprecedented moment in terms of the history of network television. To have four shows, same showrunner.”
He added, “Um, obviously Supergirl is in a little bit of a different universe, but we can fix that. That’s one line of dialogue and it’s all fixed. So I would suspect Oliver will be meeting Supergirl at some point.”
While there is no confirmation about the matter yet, the possibility is not unprecedented.
Meanwhile, Arrow Season 5 star Stephen Amell played coy when it comes to Oliver and Felicity’s relationship. In a report from Melty, the actor said he has no idea whether or not Olicity will get married in the upcoming season.
Nevertheless, the actor admitted Olicity’s relationship had to take seat given that important matters had to be attended to first.
“I know that it was important, especially at the end of Season 4 with everything that happened and with Laurel Lance’s death that their relationship get put on the back burner because I think that there were more pressing issues, obviously.”
Stephen Amell then reiterated that he doesn’t know what’s in store for Oliver and Felicity in Arrow Season 5. He said, however, that Olicity will not be together when the season starts.
“I do know that… I don’t believe that they begin Season 5 together, so we’ll see where it goes from there,” he said.
