Another season of “Arrow” has just been wrapped up. Where would the show’s fifth season find Oliver Queen next? Below, we round up five speculated spoilers you should know before the next installment rolls out.

1. Season 5 will again feature no super powers.

Or at least that will be the case if the show’s lead actor has his way. “When we started ‘Arrow,’ we were the superpower-less superhero show,” Stephen Amell told Entertainment Weekly. “We’ve had to break away from that original modus operandi a little bit.” The actor thinks it’s time for the series to do away with super powers once again. “We need to get back to…no super powers,” he said.

2. The series will focus on its core elements next season.

The show’s star thinks the series has to return to what made it so great to begin with. “We need to get back to focusing more on some of the core elements that used to define [the show],” the actor added. “To me, that’s hand-to-hand combat… and dealing with the job of cleaning up Star City.”

3. Oliver Queen finally becomes mayor.

Amell might just get part of his wish next season. His character will indeed be forced to deal with “cleaning up Star City” after he is appointed the city’s new mayor. “This will be a huge help for Oliver,” Movie Pilot pointed out. “He will be able to use his government position as the mayor to help fight crime without putting on the suit.”

4. Green Arrow will fight alone.

In the finale, only Felicity was left with Green Arrow. Movie Pilot said “this is a perfect way to put the show back on track.”

5. Will there be more crossovers?

Amell doesn’t think there will be any since, he said, “there’s no new person or new show to introduce this year.”
