“Arrow” actor Stephen Amell teased what may possibly happen to Olicity romance.
Warning! This could be heart-breaking news for Oliver and Felicity fans.
During a Facebook Q&A with fans, Amell was asked to describe a few upcoming episodes of the CW series using just three words. The actor replied: “Duel. Fallout. Ring.”
The word “Ring” sparked speculations that it has something to do with a wedding – possibly of Oliver (Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards).
Comic Book reported that a group of fans claimed to saw the production of allegedly an Olicity wedding. But the site also noted that the report contradicts the flash-forward scene in the midseason premiere in which Felicity was seen with no ring on her finger. This fuels speculations that the couple will split in the upcoming episode.
What do you think? Will there be an Olicity wedding?
In the previous episode of “Arrow,” Felicity suffered spinal cord injury and will be permanently in a wheelchair after Damien Dhark’s goons pumped her and Ollie’s limousine with bullet holes. There have been speculations that Felicity will eventually become Oracle. However, TVLine noted that the tech savvy wheelchair-using alter ego character typically assigned to DC Comics’ Barbara Gordon.
Meanwhile, International Business Times reported that Amell was also asked if his character would appear on “Supergirl” since it has been confirmed that “The Flash” Barry Allen, played by Grant Gustin, will zoom his way into the show.
Amell said, “I don’t know. We shall see. Cool thing to consider regardless.”
In December 2015, Amell confirmed that he talked to DC Entertainment chief Diane Nelson about the chances of a character like Batman appearing on “Arrow.” According to iBT, Nelson told the actor that they want to make “the best version of each thing and not forcing crossovers just for the sake of forcing them.”
Nonetheless, another “Flash-Arrow” crossover is also coming up soon.
“Arrow” actor Aaron Ramsey, who plays John Diggle, earlier shared on his Instagram page a photo with Gustin in his “Flash” costume.
He also posted another photo of himself in the writers’ room of the show, which further teases the crossover.
“Arrow” airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. on CW.
