Meanwhile, it has been reported earlier that Grande might be battling with Fifth Harmony for the top spot in Billboard album chart. The quintet’s sophomore album “7/27” will be out on the same day Grande will release “Dangerous Woman.”
While fans of both are still waiting for the outcome of sales, the “donut licking-queen” recently revealed that the album title was not her first choice. According to Entertainment Weekly, it was supposed to be dubbed as “Moonlight.”
But why “Dangerous Woman?” Grande revealed in one of her Snapchat videos that the title refers to what she is today. “
“’Moonlight‘ is a lovely song and it’s a lovely title,” she said. “It’s really romantic, and it definitely ties together, the old music and the new music, but ‘Dangerous Woman’ is a lot stronger. I want to be empowering my fans,” as quoted from a previous article.
On the other hand, Hollywood Life notes that Grande said her new album has a fresh sound as she wants to take her music to a more mature perspective.
