With the latest Benchmark report out and about there are more reasons for iPhone 6S users to rejoice.
The 2015 Antutu’s Global Top 10 Best Performance Smartphones Report is out and has brought with it some big revelations. In the past the Performance Ranking Report has only included Android devices, this time around with the arrival of AnTuTu 6.0, a cross-platform app, the iPhones have also been included in the mix.
The result isn’t quite favorable for Android users as the iPhone 6S reigned supreme and by a huge margin. The iPhone 6S stood at the top of the list with a score of 132,620. As noted by Digital Trends, Huawei Mate 8 took up the second slot with a score of 92,746, which only goes to show that the iPhone 6S is about 42 percent faster than the second smartphone in the lineup.
For fans who are wondering, Samsung’s flagship devices sat among the fourth and fifth place on the list. With the Galaxy Note 5 taking the fourth spot followed by Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Apple’s iPhone 6S proved to be 60 percent faster compared to the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. iPhone 6, which hit the tech scene in 2014, stood at the sixth position still managing to outperform some of the most popular Android handsets, including the Google Nexus 6P. The iPhone 6 performed 3 percent better than the Huawei smartphone, which was launched only a few months ago.
It is noteworthy that the Plus versions of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S weren’t included in the list, as shared by Antutu, “iPhone6S Plus and iPhone6 Plus did not list in the ranking as there are no big differences compared with iPhone 6S iPhone6.”
With these details out, it will only be more interesting to see what iPhone 7 will be bringing for Apple fans. The device is rumored to be arriving with an A10 chip and more internal upgrades. Fans can keep coming back here for more updates on the latest smartphones on the block.
