Android users are in for a sweet start to the year as the Android 6 Marshmallow updates are beginning to be rolled out in full swing.
The latest report on PhoneArena revealed the OS being rolled out for LG G3 users in Poland and users around the globe can expect the Marshmallow treat to be coming their way soon. Furthermore, it was only a few days ago that the company released the update for the pocket-friendly LG G Stylo.
Amidst all of the sweetness being shared Samsung Galaxy S6 users are probably wondering where is their Marshmallow treat. As opposed to rumors doing the rounds of the update being available for the latest flagship from the stables of Samsung, it is actually the beta version that had been made available for a select group of people in the UK.
As shared by Android Headlines, the registrations that had opened up for users with S6 devices wanting to take part in the beta testing has now come to a close. There has still been no word when the Marshmallow flavor will be arriving for the Samsung Galaxy S6.
SamMobile meanwhile, confirmed that only those users possessing an unlocked Galaxy S6 device could register as beta testers. According to report, Samsung began seeking beta testers in UK as well as South Korea. The update for users participating, arrived over the air.
Android Headlines noted the photo gallery showcased by Sam Mobile depicting how TouchWiz has been completely transformed to probably deliver one of the best experiences yet on the Samsung device. When in the Pro Mode users can decide upon the shutter speed within the default camera app. Users could also enjoy Marshmallow’s Doze, Google Now On Tap and the permissions management setup for apps amongst other features.
Samsung Galaxy S6 users can keep coming back to check for when the sweet Android 6 Marshmallow treat may arrive for their handsets.
