A huge twist is coming in American Horror Story Season 6 and this will blow the minds of viewers.
AHS creators have revealed that fans will be shocked in Episode 6 when the biggest twist will finally disclose.
“You’ll see starting in episode 6, the show has a huge turn and the thing that you think you’re watching is not what you’re watching … It’s a hat on a hat on a hat on a hat that we’ve had to protect,” Ryan Murphy told Entertainment Weekly. Co-creator Brad Falchuk added the audience might think that they have already guessed where the show is going but they actually don’t.
Murphy further teased that the twist separates American Horror Story Season 6 into two. Back in 2014, the showrunner said all AHS seasons are connected and there are clues in each season how the different worlds in the anthology are intertwined.
Vanity Fair noted that so far each episode of Season 6 has a clue of the previous seasons of AHS. In Episode 1 for instance, a couple bought a haunted house. The magazine noted that was AHS Season 1 Murder House. Episode 2 showed how the house was once a medical facility where psychotic nurses murdered old folks and that was AHS Season 2 Asylum.
Does this mean the first six episodes of American Horror Story Season 6 are all about the previous seasons, and the other half of this season is a completely different story?
Meanwhile, actress Sarah Paulson also teased that viewers will go nuts when they watch Episode 6. Paulson plays Season 6 lead character Shelby Miller.

Vanity Fair made a guess on what could be the upcoming huge twist this season. The publication wrote the most convincing theory is that it will somehow involve a breaking of the fourth wall. Cuba Gooding Jr. also hinted that his character would meet Andre Holland’s “real” talking head version. The actor plays Shelby’s husband Matt Miller.
The sixth season of the FX’s anthology series focuses on a married couple who moved to Roanoke Island, North Carolina. They will find some paranormal activity happening in their house.
American Horror Story: Roanoke has aired up to Episode 2. The highly-anticipated Episode 6 is scheduled on October 19.
