The phenomenal AlDub tandem has been a top trending topic worldwide for almost four months now. Fans have seen their early stages, obstacles and romantic moments. However, is the AlDub fever beginning to go down?

Last week, a new character visited the “Kalye Serye” cast. Veteran Filipino actress Gloria Romero starred as “Tiya Bebeng,” the grandmothers’ aunt. After her visit on the set, Lola Nidora (played by Filipino actor Wally Bayola) changed back to her dominating self.

What does it imply? Is AlDub struggling to get back on top with its surprising turns and twists?

Not really as the tandem has been given a big offer for 2016. For fans who are wondering if they would still see their favourite onscreen couple in the months to come, here’s the scoop that will drive away your worries!

After their “Sa Tamang Panahon” (At The Right Time) event got a worldwide record of 41 million tweets, AlDub is said to be heading on to a Valentine concert. The tandem got a concert offer priced at 20 million pesos, Preen Inquirer wrote.

The site mentioned that negotiations are still ongoing. However, Preen named Concert producer Joed Serrano as the person in charge of the possible project. Serrano recently brought music group Pentatonix to Manila and Cebu, Philippines.

The initial plan was to get Alden Richards, who recently got a platinum record for his “Wish I May” album, for the Valentine concert. If ever he sings “God Gave Me You,” he will likely make the crowd swoon.

However, the invitation was also extended to Maine Mendoza (Yaya Dub) to complete the hit tandem. Preen mentioned that both celebrities were offered 10 million pesos each.

While awaiting for tandem’s acceptance of the offer, the possible Valentine concert is reported to be set on February 13 and 14 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Just keep your fingers crossed, AlDub fans!
