“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” has been packed with many twists and story line advancements since the third season began.

Namely, one of the story lines that have been nurtured this season is the development of Inhumans, thanks to Daisy Johnson’s (Chloe Bennet) recruitment of people with special abilities.

Now, Screen Rant reports that Daisy’s Secret Warriors may see an addition to their team.

According to the report, Yo-Yo Rodriguez or Slingshot is rumored to be added to the ABC series. Screen Rant describes the character as follows:

“Slingshot, in the world of Marvel Comics, is a Secret Warriors team member whose special abilities include superhuman speed – with the twist that she is anchored to the spot she sped from and must bounce back to this exact location (hence her nickname).”

Apart from the rumored inclusion of the character, Point of Geeks reports that the role is already filled.

The website says that Natalia Cordova-Buckley (Macfarland, USA) will take on the character of Slingshot.

Point of Geeks also revealed that it is not yet known when Cordova-Buckley will make an appearance on the show; however, she is slated to begin shooting in January during “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s” winter hiatus.

We Got This Covered also points out that the interesting twist on Slingshot’s super-speed ability will make a good visual on the show.

For now, Hypable reports that the last two episodes of the show before its break will be “dramatic, intriguing, and mind-wrecking.”

According to the website, the upcoming ninth episode will finally see a confrontation between Grant Ward (Brett Dalton) and Director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg). Joey (Juan Pablo Raba) is also set to be back in the episode which indicates that Daisy’s mission with Inhumans may be tackled.

Episode 9 of “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” season 3 will air on December 1 at 9 p.m. on ABC.
