“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” Season 3 finale will deviate from its predecessors without a direct connection to Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War.” However, a new synopsis for the May 10 broadcast may tilt the scales for Iron Man” or “Captain America.” Will “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” be listing it’s superpowered Inhumans in the wake of Marvel Studio’s biggest cinematic showdown?
Marvel’s TV tie-in series has been developing a civil war of its own between humans and the human-looking Inhumans, and the description from the May 10 finale episode synopsis titled “Emancipation,” previews a dark after impact of the Civil War on “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”
However, everything is just a game of speculation, till we witness things on our own. The synopsis further has put across some hints towards #TeamIronMan, reports ScreenCrush. Only time will tell whether or not “Captain America: Civil War” really does end with either Tony or Steve getting their way? Since “Captain America: Civil War” hits theaters on May 6 and the finale episode of “Emancipation” will be aired on May 10, there might be surmounting pressures that will arise after Civil War on Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and the team and its introduction of the Sokovia Accords:
“In the aftermath of the events of Captain America: Civil War, S.H.I.E.L.D. feels pressure to reveal their involvement with Inhumans. But with the stakes higher than ever and Hive growing stronger, the team is tested in ways they could never anticipate.”
It has also been rumored that Civil War could also put Coulson in a remarkably harsh mood. However, that hasn’t prevented “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” from also planning through a May 17 finale. Sources reveal that the finale episode is now scheduled for two hours.
In the meantime, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will return on April 5 with “Spacetime,” where we are probably going to get a look at what a Hydra-controlled future just might look like.
