Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4 won’t come until this fall. Fans have already started guessing what the show’s next installment has in store for their favorite agents. However, will all that excitement be for naught? Will the network really axe the show before the next season even airs?

Adrianne Palicki, who plays  Bobbi Morse, a.k.a. Mockingbird, has been part of S. H. I. E. L. D. since the show’s second season. However, reports confirmed that the former Friday Night Lights star will be joining Seth MacFarlane’s new show on another network. Will her new show really get in the way of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4 filming? Will this new project really force her to leave the show instead? Most importantly, will her possible exit really throw the S. H. I. E. L. D.  series off?

The actress’ role in the Marvel spy series has greatly diminished throughout the show’s run, though. So, her latest project might not really affect the show overall that much. The fourth season of the ABC hit show will still push through as scheduled.

What’s unclear right now, though, is whether or not Bobbi will still appear on the show next season. Her ex-husband Lance Hunter’s fate in the show’s next instalment is similarly vague at the moment. Both characters might have been really important to Phil Coulson’s elite team in the past few seasons. But Marvel Studios TV head Jeph Loeb didn’t exactly mention either character during last week’s Comic Con in San Diego.

Meanwhile, complete details about Palicki’s new show on Fox has yet to surface. Neither Fox nor MacFarlane has even confirmed a title for the show yet. However, According to Deadline, the actress has come on board to play lay Kelly Grayson, the ex-wife of Ed, the character played by MacFarlane himself.

Will the actress really prioritize this new show over Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4? Will Lance and Bobbi really exit the show for good? Or could either one of them appear on the show from time to time in the future? No word as of yet to confirm this. Stay tuned for updates.
