Is there a 5SOS new album in the works? The Aussie quartet shares details about a third material.

Next month, the boys will be celebrating the first year of their successful sophomore album Sounds Good Feels Good. They’ve been touring all around the world the promote it.

“This year has been an incredible one for us, and although it’s not over yet we’re looking forward to doing another tour again after we take some time off and write a new album,” 5SOS guitarist Michael Clifford explained via Sugarscape. “It’s going to be a real opportunity to grow more as people and learn more about ourselves/the world.”

This explains a lot about the boys’ plans after finishing up their Sounds Live Feels Live event. Notably, the 8-month long tour began in Japan on Feb. 19.

After touring in some parts of Asia, the boys headed to Europe. It appears that the 5SOS mania has spread all over the continent as well.

Then, Clifford, along with vocalist Luke Hemmings, bassist Calum Hood, and drummer Ashton Irwin went straight to North America for the third leg of the tour. They still have to finish 2 more in Mexico and finally in Australia.

They did the tour to thank the fans all over the world for the victorious second material. Some of the hits included are She’s Kinda Hot, Jet Black Heart, and Hey Everybody.

Aside from the success that they get from making the SGFG, the boys also carved their name in the music industry by writing a song for the movie Ghostbusters 2. The track is entitled as Girls Talk Boys.

Meanwhile, those who would want to witness the boys as they rock out the stage may take a look at the schedule here; tickets courtesy of 5SOS Live. On the other hand, stay tuned for more updates regarding 5SOS new album.
