The party season will resolute next year. Sounds funny though. I mean, next year is just what, 8 days from now? And with all the booze and fancy food everywhere, you are just slacking away. By the time you recover from all the hangovers, your work will resume.

Unhealthy body leads to unhealthy mind, which further leads to loss of attentiveness in your daily chores. Thus, you need to get in shape before those common pressures start building up again. Here are 5 tips that will help you to get fit quickly in time after the end of the party season.

1. Proper Sleep

Sleep plays a vital role in staying fit. Let’s break down what happens when there is lack of sleep. If you stay up late, you tend to get hungry and you munch on snacks. Snacks that are not entirely healthy. And after a while, you fall asleep. Once you wake up, you feel clogged, leading you to intake food rich in calories. You will feel tired to do exercises, and the cycle repeats.

It is advisable that a person should sleep for seven hours straight. If you are a deep sleeper, then six hours is good for you. Not less.

2. Eating Healthy

Reducing your meals drastically won’t aid you to get fit quickly. You must have a balanced diet, and skipping meals won’t help either. You have had so many carb rich food that now is the time to cut them down. Avoid white bread, white rice, and anything with additional sugar. This means, a strict no to bottled or can juices, soft drinks, etc. Opt for fresh juices. Blend a cucumber, spinach, celery and kale together and drink it. This magical drink will reduce inflammation and will obstruct in gaining excess weight.

If you are not driving, and are using the public transport to work, then why don’t you try to walk as much as you can? If you are speed walking, you can go up to 20 minutes per day. But make sure you are walking everyday.

4. Jogging or Running

If you are an early riser, you can easily opt for jogging or if you can, then running. It is better if you can jog early in the morning because the air is the freshest then. Jogging or running burns a lot of calories. It will tone your muscles, and will help you to maintain a steady weight. So, wear your most comfy clothes, grab a bottle of water, tune into your favourite music and jog out.

5. Workout Everyday

In case you are unable to walk or jog on a daily basis, spare some 30 minutes at home. Involve yourself in some sort of exercises, be it push-ups, sit-ups, squats, anything.
