With the recent findings about fast food meals, you’d probably say, “I will avoid eating at fast food chains and will start preparing my own food.”
But then, you’d see a new poster or commercial of a fast food meal. The meal just looks so enticing and mouthwatering. Cheat day it is!
Cheat days are okay every once in a while as some fast food items “are good for the soul.” But if you’v ever heard of the movie “Supersize Me”, you’ll know dining at Maccas regularly will pack in the unwanted pounds.
We’ve listed down the “unhealthiest” and “worst” to order at fast food chains. See if you’ve ever chowed down at these evils.
1. Hungry Jack’s Ultimate Burger Whopper
Life Hacker list notes that this burger has 4773 kilojoules of energy, 75g of fat, 53g of carbs, 11.1g of sugars and 1862mg of sodium. Yes, that’s a lot to burn so think twice before ordering it. Opt for a single patty instead!
2. Kentucky Fried Chicken Pot Pie
The KFC Pot Pie may be scrumptious for a cold weather but its 790 calories and 45 g of fat will not make you any healthier.
3. Pizza Hut Loaded Pepperoni
Life Hacker notes that this loaded pepperoni pizza has 8629 kj of energy which “exceeds most adult’s daily recommended energy intake.” In case you can’t say no to this, remember to share the pizza with your friends!
4. Domino’s Pizza: Double Bacon Cheeseburger
Compared with the loaded pepperoni pizza, this pizza contains 6032 kj of energy. This has less fats too but that does not mean you can eat more of it!
5. KFC: Zinger Stacker Burger
Life Hacker notes that KFC “has a reputation for being one of Australia’s unhealthiest fast food choices.” The Zinger Stacker is proven to be the unhealthiest as it has “36.7g of fat, 55.1g carbohydrates, 12.4g of sugars and 2257mg of sodium.”
6. Panera Bread’s Mac and Cheese

No matter how “fresh” it looks, 3940 kj of energy is still not healthy.
9. Starbucks’ Venti Egg Nog Latte
The combination of egg nog and whole milk is yummy indeed. For a healthier beverage, let’s try with skim milk?
