‘Glitterbug’ By The Wombats Enters The ARIA Albums Chart


ARIA has once more released its list of the most popular albums in Australia on Monday, April 20, 2015. The list includes “Spirit Of The Anzacs” by Lee Kernaghan, “In The Lonely Hour” by Sam Smith, “1989” by Taylor Swift and “Glitterbug” by The Wombats. Below are the rest of the songs included in ARIA’s list of hit albums.

“Spirit Of The Anzacs” by Lee Kernaghan reigns supreme at the ARIA Albums Chart. It has been on the top position since the week of April 13, 2015. Kernaghan’s album has been on the chart for the fifth time.

Meanwhile, “Glitterbug” by The Wombats comes in at number two as a new entry for the April 20, 2015 week. It’s followed by the “Furious 7: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack,” which retained its position at third place. As for the album “X” by Ed Sheeran, it jumped down to the fourth spot from being on the second position for the week of April 13, 2015.

Taylor Swift’s “1989” climbed up one spot to number six, while Hozier’s self-titled debut album moved to the eighth spot from being on the fifth position for the April 13, 2015 week. “Chaos And The Calm” by James Bay entered the Top 10 list of the ARIA Albums Chart landing at number 10 from being on the 12th spot on the previous week.
